DOCTRINE OF THE RADIANT LIVING MINISTRY
INTRODUCTION
The Radiant Living Ministry is a Christian movement rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and inspired by divine revelations of God’s love, light, and transformative power. Guided by the scripture that the kingdom of God is within us (Luke 17:21) and anchored in the principle of living in unity with God’s Spirit, this ministry seeks to illuminate the path toward spiritual healing, freedom from trauma, and a radiant life of purpose and joy. Our core tenets emphasize the eternal truth that God is love and light (1 John 4:8; 1 John 1:5) and that through faith and understanding, we are invited to embody His divine presence in every aspect of our lives. We are a non-denomination church. All Are Welcome.
Core Tenets of Radiant Living Ministry
1. Belief in the One True God
We affirm that there is only one God, the Creator of the heavens, the Earth, and all that exists. This God is infinite, eternal, and omnipotent, transcending time and space while remaining intimately involved in the lives of His creation. Through His love, He calls us into communion with Him, offering us a life of peace, purpose, and fulfillment.
2. The Holy Trinity
We believe in the triune nature of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—Three in One. These three aspects of the divine represent a unity of essence and purpose, providing us with a model of perfect love and relationship.
- God the Father: The Creator and sustainer of all things, whose divine plan unfolds through love and righteousness.
- Jesus Christ, the Son: The Word made flesh, who came to redeem humanity through His life, death, and resurrection.
- The Holy Spirit: The indwelling presence of God, empowering believers to live in divine truth and manifest the kingdom of God within themselves.
Scriptural Foundations
The Kingdom Within
Jesus taught the Pharisees that “the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21). This profound truth reveals that God’s presence is not confined to physical temples or distant realms but resides within the hearts of believers and non-believers. Through faith spiritual awakening starts to manifest, through our spiritual growth we are called to discover and manifest more completely this God’s spiritual kingdom in our daily lives. By aligning our inner being with God’s Spirit, we experience true freedom, peace, and the radiant life He has prepared for us.
Love and Light
John’s gospel and epistles emphasize that God is both love and light.
- God is Love: “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” (1 John 4:8). Love is the foundation of our faith and the ultimate expression of God’s nature. Through love, we connect with God, ourselves, and others. God is Light:
- “God is light; in Him, there is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5). Light symbolizes truth, purity, and the divine energy that illuminates our path. By walking in God’s light, we are transformed into vessels of His glory and power.
The Resurrection
We believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ, who rose from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion. This miraculous event signifies victory over sin, death, and the forces of darkness. Just as Christ was raised to new life, we, too, are called to awaken from spiritual death and embrace the abundant life offered through Him.
Salvation
Salvation is a transformative process of letting go of the known, finite manifestations of the material world to embrace the unlimited, infinite mind of God. Through Jesus Christ, we are reconciled with God and freed from the bondage of sin and limitation. This salvation is not earned but received as a gift of grace through faith.
Self-Healing and Transformation
We believe in the power of spiritual change and self-healing through a deep understanding of God’s Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. True transformation occurs when the outer manifestations of life give way to an internal awakening, allowing God’s truth and wisdom to bring healing to our minds, bodies, and spirits.
Baptism
Baptism is both an outward expression of faith and an inward commitment to God. Through baptism, we receive the Holy Breath, which frees the inner wellspring of divine life within us. It signifies the washing away of the old self and the birth of a new creation in Christ, who is the light of the world.
The Second Coming
We believe in the visible return of Jesus Christ, who will establish His eternal kingdom. In preparation for this glorious event, we are called to live in holiness, continually seeking the revelation of the Holy Trinity and manifesting the values of God’s kingdom in our lives.
Values Made Manifest
The Radiant Living Ministry emphasizes the importance of embodying spiritual values as evidence of our faith. These values include:
- Love: The highest calling of every believer, reflecting God’s unconditional love for all creation.
- Forgiveness: A practice of releasing resentment and extending grace, just as God has forgiven us.
- Humility: A posture of surrender and dependence on God’s will.
- Compassion: An active expression of God’s love, reaching out to those in need.
- Justice: Upholding truth and fairness in alignment with God’s righteousness.
- Honesty: Living with integrity and transparency before God and others.
- Generosity: Sharing our time, resources, and talents to bless others.
- Faith: Trusting in God’s promises and walking in obedience to His Word.
Practices of Radiant Living
Energy Healing and Spiritual Freedom
Radiant Living incorporates principles of energy healing, recognizing that stress, trauma, and negative patterns hinder the flow of God’s Spirit within us. Through prayer, meditation, and other spiritual practices, believers are equipped to release these burdens and embrace God’s healing power.
Weekly Services
Minister Walter L. Beckley leads weekly services, both live and online, providing teaching, worship, and fellowship opportunities. The ministry also provides workshops on Spiritual Healing Energy, stress relief, and trauma recovery, grounded in biblical principles. These gatherings are designed to nurture spiritual growth and foster a community of radiant believers.
